About

Welcome to my blog!  I am A Sunday In June aka ASIJ (that’s the day I was born if anyone wonders).

My weird but wonderful significant other is Mr. ASIJ.  He is…well…weird but wonderful.  I have two children:  Big Son ASIJ (age 29 – not much of a child anymore huh?) and Little Miss ASIJ (age 12 – going on 29).  Both are miracles…I’m sure you’ll be hearing much about them as time goes by.  I have two brothers, both younger than me, Middle Brother and Baby Brother.  I am mother to two dogs, Maxx the wonder dog (a black lab) and Dumber, Maxx’s son, and just as his name implies, he is a few cards short of a full deck.  He’s hyper way past the hyper stage.  Someone forgot to tell him he was supposed to grow up and he has remained a puppy way longer than normal.  But this is ASIJ’s family – no one is normal – thank goodness – how boring would THAT be?  I am also mother to 4 cats. I think soon I will be called the neighborhood cat lady!

This blog is meant to capture my life ~ before I forget it.  The life and times of ASIJ.  The good, the bad, and the ugly.  Memories…just memories.  Sometimes boring, sometimes silly, sometimes painful, always miraculous – such is life!

Please read with no judgement, as I am writing with unconditional love for all involved on these pages.  Even the bad guys…because as Mr. Shakespeare said in Hamlet, “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”  Or…as I hear all over the place these days, “It’s all good!”

These people and events have made me who I am today.  Take it or leave it.  Just don’t judge me.

After all…we are one.

I am honored you are here!

I would love to hear from you ~ asundayinjune at gmail dot com
